Let's define some key terms before diving into the platform. ***Accessory*** : An item that is equipped to a character in order to add personality. ***Asset*** : Any digital object, including blueprints, items, and materials, that can be used in the creation of a virtual space. ***Blueprint*** : An out-of-the-box 3D model design used in the construction of virtual spaces. ***Blueprint Instance*** : A constructed model resulting from applying a building material to a blueprint. ***Build mode*** : The mode in which users can place and manipulate blueprints, items, and materials within their virtual space. ***Character*** : A digital representation of a player, person or creature. ***Decorative Item***: An object placed within a virtual space primarily for visual purposes, intended to enhance the aesthetics and atmosphere of the environment. ***Footprint***: the area that a blueprint or decorative item occupies within a space. ***Item*** : An object that may be equipped by a character or used to decorate a space. ***Lighting*** : The way in which light is used within the virtual space to create atmosphere and mood. ***Materials*** : Digital textures or finishes applied to blueprints and items to add visual detail and depth to a virtual space. ***Position*** : The location of an object within a 3D space, specified by its x, y, and z coordinates. ***Scale*** : The size of objects or items within the virtual space, which can be adjusted to create a sense of proportion and depth. ***Space*** : A 3D environment that exists entirely in the digital realm. ***Spawn point*** : The location that players spawn at within a space. # Quickstart Create a virtual space in minutes. Launch the game client after the install finishes. ### Customize Your Character Every player needs a character that represents them in our virtual world. Go ahead and customize your character. You may choose to edit your character's appearance later. ### Start Building Your Own Space Select the "CREATE" button from the main menu to create a new space. A new default space will be loaded into the scene. Your avatar will automatically spawn. As soon as your avatar appears, you are ready to build. Our free plan offers basic features and limited storage, while our paid plans offer more advanced features and increased storage space. # How to build Building a space is super easy! Spaces are created by constructing [blueprints](/build-a-space/blueprints) and positioning them in the desired areas within your space. A constructed blueprint is called a blueprint instance. Apply an available building material to a blueprint in order to construct a new instance of that blueprint. {% hint style="info" %} #### Example A brick wall is constructed by applying *brick* material to a *wall* blueprint. {% endhint %} ### Select a blueprint Make a selection from the [available blueprints](/build-a-space/blueprints#available-blueprints). ### Apply a material Each blueprint has a variety of materials available. Select your preferred material depending on what you're building and apply it to the blueprint. ### Position the instance Position the blueprint instance in the desired location within your space. An instance will have a green tint if it is positioned in a valid location, and a red tint if it is positioned in an invalid location. # Blueprints Ready-to-use 3D model designs. Blueprints remove complexity and allow you to build-out your space with ease.
